WELCOME TO PEDDER PATTER!
Pedder Patter, located close to the central business district of Launceston, was established in 1988 as a non profit organisation to help meet the needs of the local community. It is managed by the Director and a voluntary committee of people who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.
The Centre is licensed to cater for up to 50 children at a time aged from birth to seven years. There are 4 care areas, each catering for the individual needs of a different age group. Each area has a separate age appropriate outdoor environment. Click on each room (on the right) to view more information about that room.
Our Director and staff are all highly qualified professionals, each chosen for their skills, experience and genuine commitment to child care.

At all times, to support high quality care and high quality programs delivered to the children, families and to the community.
Our future over the next 5 years will be characterised by building on our existing service framework to create a larger and stronger service system in response to the growing demand from families.
Pedder Patter aims to expand its service provision in out of school hours care programs. We will also develop our services and programs in the young children’s area, where demand is increasing for more early learning intervention.
Pedder Patter will become a leader in the provision of high quality centre based long-day care and in out of school hours care.
